
Knights Edge Rangers 2-1 In Series With 6-3 Win

The London Knights take a 2-1 series lead over the Kitchener Rangers after claiming a 6-3 win at the John Labatt Centre.
Chris DeSousa scored his first of two power play goals at 3:29 of the first period to give London a 1-0 lead. The Rangers' Ryan Murphy replied with an unassisted goal, his second of the playoffs at 12:40 to tie the game. Kitchener took a 2-1 lead on a power play goal by Jeremy Morin with 1:37 left in the period. The Knights outshot the Rangers 14-5 in the period.
The Rangers were kept off the board in the second period, with London scoring the lone goal to tie the game 2-2. The goal came early in the period by Michael MacDonald.
MacDonald scored his second goal just over the 2-minute mark in the third period to give London a 3-2 lead. 2:21 later, Jeff Skinner answered back to tie the game once more at 3-3. The Knights went on to score three unanswered goals and claim a 6-3 win. Goals were from DeSousa, Leigh Salters and Nazem Kadri.
The Rangers return to The Aud for game four on Wednesday, April 7th at 7:00pm.
Approximately 900 unclaimed season tickets for Wednesday's game will be released TOMORROW - Tuesday, April 6th at 10am.
