Cougars Continue To Support The Community In 2009-10 Season

PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Cougars are very proud of their involvement in the community. Part of the team's mission as an organization is to provide good citizenry off the ice; the players have lived up to that mission in the 2009/2010 season, spending nearly 500 hours in the community supporting non-profit organizations, schools and sponsors. Below is a summary of activities the Cougars have participated in, and of organizations supported through game promotions in 09/10.

Sunday, October 4th- Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, staff and entire team

Friday, October 16th- Visit to University Hospital of Northern BC Paediatrics Unit, 6 players

Tuesday, October 20th- Launch of Adopt a School Program at College Heights Elementary, 2 players

Sunday, October 25th- Prince George Hospice Society Halloween Spooktacular, 4 players

Tuesday, October 27th- Launch of Adopt a School Program at Harwin Elementary, 2 players
