
Blizzard Release 2010 Promotional Schedule

2010 will offer Affordable Family Fun for families and friends alike, covering each and every home game in the 2010 season.
Back for 2010, and slightly improved from years past, is a night fans will come to know as "BUD NIGHT." Budweiser has teamed up with the Green Bay Blizzard to offer $2.00 24oz draft Bud and Bud Select beers on four different home dates during the 2010 season. These dates are Opening Night Friday, March 19th, Saturday, April 24th, Saturday, May 8th, and Saturday, June 12th.
Also back for the 2010 Blizzard season are $1.00 Hot Dogs and $1.00 Sodas. These special offer promotional nights will be known as "Family Nights." Accompanying the price break at the concession stands on Family Nights, Mom and Dad will be happy to hear their little ones will almost never go home empty handed. "Blizzard Cheersticks" will be handed out to the first 1000 fans through the gates that are 12 years old or younger. With the Cheersticks comes a special Blizzard Merchandise offer as well. Fans that attain a pair of Cheersticks on Family Night will be able to use that item for 20% off all Blizzard Merchandise when shown at the merchandise booth. Offer valid night of game only. Family Night will happen three times during the 2010 season; Friday, March 26th presented by Nicolet Bank, Saturday, June 5th presented by WFRV TV5, and Saturday, June 19th presented by Nicolet Bank.
And that's just the tip of the Iceberg.
Opening Night, Friday, March 19th, the first 4000 fans through the doors will receive a free Blizzard 2010 Magnet Schedule, compliments of Menominee Casino Resort. 4000 MAGNET SCHEDULES! That doesn't mean get to the Blizzard game at 7:04pm. That mean's get there early, because these schedules surely won't last!
Opening Night is also March of Dimes Night presented by Johnson Bank. $1.00 of every ticket sold will be donated to March of Dimes.
Another big day on the Blizzard Home Schedule for 2010 is Saturday, June 5th, also known as Sports Day in Green Bay. Since the Blizzard and the Bullfrogs are now one big happy family, a special offer will be made to ensure June 5th becomes a date for the record books. Everyone that attends the 1:05pm Bullfrogs Home Game at Joannes Stadium will get into the 7:05pm Blizzard game FOR FREE! Oh yeah, June 5th is a Bud Night too! If you miss this sports filled day in Green Bay, you'll regret it more forever! SPORTS DAY IN GREEN BAY, SATURDAY, JUNE 5th.
The rest of the 2010 Blizzard Promotional Schedule is as follows:
April 24th: WHITE OUT NIGHT!! Wear your White T-Shirt to the Blizzard game and have a chance to win a pair of Blizzard season tickets FOR LIFE!! If your seat is drawn and you don't have a white t-shirt on...well...let's just not think about what might happen.
May 8th: It's Green Bay vs. Chicago! Need we say more? Presented by Online Trading Academy.
June 12th: DAV Player Trading Card Night! Show support for our Disabled American Veterans, and pick up a set of FREE Green Bay Blizzard player trading cards in the process (if you're one of the first 2500 fans through the gates). A very special ceremony will be held at halftime to honor these brave men and woman as well.
June 19th: Fan Appreciation Night/Van Lanen Team Poster Night! The first 1000 fans 12 years old and younger not only will go home with Blizzard Cheersticks, but will also have the rights to hang their 2010 Blizzard Team Poster wherever they so choose. That's cool stuff! Thanks Van Lanen!
The Blizzard are a proud new member of the Indoor Football League. All home games are played at Online Trading Academy Field in the Resch Center. The 2010 home opener is March 19th against the La Crosse Spartans. Blizzard QB Phillips Named Offensive Player of the Week
Richmond, VA: The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Week Two Vidswap.com Players of the Week. Each week the IFL will select three players, one from each phase of the game (offense, defense, and specials teams), whose play on the field stood out among the rest of the competition. Seven games were featured in the second weekend of play and the following player's performances propelled them to Week Two Vidswap.com Players of the Week. Offensive Player of the Week: QB Jake Phillips, Green Bay Blizzard Phillips and the rest of the Blizzard were impressive in their IFL debut as they were victorious in a tough road game against the Sioux City Bandits 69-61. Phillips was exceptional, completing 16-22 passes for 241 yards for 8 TDs. This weekend the Blizzard will travel to take on the Bloomington Extreme in a Central North Division matchup.
Blizzard Open Division Play
The Green Bay Blizzard hit the road again for week 2 of the IFL season. The Blizzard travel to Bloomington, Il for a division match-up with the Extreme. Kickoff is set for 7:05pm on Saturday, March 13th.
Green Bay (1-0) is coming off an exciting opening week victory at Sioux City 69-61. Blizzard quarterback Jake Phillips was named the vidswap.com Offensive Player of the Week with 8 touchdown passes.
Bloomington (0-1) dropped its home opener last weekend to the Richmond Revolution 49-37 in front of 5,769 fans.

"This Week in the IFL" Internet Radio Show
The IFL is proud to announce a partnership with Puska Media Services to create a weekly Internet radio show entitled "This Week in the IFL."
The program, scheduled to begin March 9th and conclude July 24th, will recap the previous week in the IFL as well as preview the upcoming schedule of games. Weekly segments will include interviews with players, coaches, and front office personnel from all 25 IFL teams. Fans will be able to listen to the show live on Monday nights during a live upload. The program will then be available for downloading through podcast.
"This Week in the IFL" will provide fans access to IFL personalities like never before. This program is the next step in creating a more interactive and enjoyable experience for our fans.

The Green Bay Blizzard invite all fans to become a member of the 2010 Coldfront Booster Club. By joining this elite club, it gives you the opportunity to meet players and receive free giveaways.
