
Los Angeles D-Fenders Acquire James Peters

Los Angeles D-Fenders News Release
El Segundo, CA- It was announced today that the Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired forward, James Peters. The active roster now stands at 10.
Peters has spent the last couple of months playing for the Changwon LG Sakers in the Korean Basketball League. Prior to his stint with the Sakers, Peters played for the Reno Bighorns during the 2009-10 pre-season. Peters spent the 2008-09 season overseas, playing for the Pusan KTF Magic Wings in Korea (KBL). In 23 games with the Magic Wings, Peters averaged 19.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
"Peters will be a great addition to our team. I am excited to see him get in there and mix it up a little bit. Overall I think that he will be a good asset to the team and will fit well into the system that we run," said Head Coach Chucky Brown.
Peters replaces Diamon Simpson on the D-Fenders roster.
