Ice Flyers Sign Paul Falco Prior To Trade Deadline

Paul Falco a 6ft 190lb defenseman was acquired from the Huntsville Havoc today prior to the SPHL trade deadline. Falco originally from Weymouth, MA has 2 goals and 10 assists in 30 games this season with a +/- of +3. Last season for the Havoc Falco had 27 points and an even +/- in 27 games after a mid-season trade from the Twin City Cyclones.

Falco is consistently one of the top scoring defensemen in the SPHL and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our defense. Falco has played in 235 games in the ECHL, UHL & SPHL.Scoring 32 goals and recording 88 assists for 120 points and has amassed 290 penalty minutes.

Coach Gordon said, "I am extremely excited to add Paul to our defensive lineup, with his size and experience on the blue line and his leadership skills fans will see an immediate impact on the ice. Last season Paul was one of the leading scorers on defense and I feel he will continue that trend here in Pensacola. He adds an element to our team that will help us in all phases on and off the ice. Paul is just a great person to be around and a solid hockey player."
