Fort Wayne, IN - The Mad Ants announced today that NBA assigned player Joe Alexander has been recalled to the NBA due to a trade between the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Milwaukee Bucks traded Alexander and Hakim Warrick for John Salmons of the Chicago Bulls.
The Bucks assigned Alexander to the Mad Ants on January 21st. He averaged 10.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in six games for the Ants.
NBA Development League The NBA Development League, founded in 2001, is the NBA's official minor league and features 16 teams with direct affiliations to NBA teams. The league has produced 15 percent of the players on 2007-08 end-of-season NBA rosters and continues to develop current NBA coaches and referees.
