Cats double Olympiques 4-2

Moncton Wildcats News Release


The Moncton Wildcats fell behind 2-0 in the first period but stormed back to get a 4-2 victory over Gatineau on Saturday afternoon.

Wildcats goal scorers were Gabriel Bourque, Allain Saulnier, Nic Deschamps and Daniel Petterson. Hugo Laporte and Yoan Pinette scored for the home team.

It was 2-1 the Olympique after one, 3-2 the Wildcats after 40 minutes and Pettersson's empty netter was insurance.

The Cats outs shot the Gatineau 36-21.

The Wildcats next game will be on Friday night at the Coliseum against Rimouski.. It's Military Appreciation night, fans are asked to wear red.
