Montgomery Biscuits News Release
MONTGOMERY - The Montgomery Biscuits will hold their seventh annual Job Fair on Saturday, February 6th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium.
The organization will hire retail staff, food service, promotions, ticket operations, janitorial services, wait staff and guest services in preparation for the upcoming season. Front office staff members will be on site to conduct interviews.
"Our fans love the positively outrageous customer service they receive at Riverwalk Stadium," said Biscuits Co-Owner Sherrie Myers. "At the Job Fair, we're looking for individuals who enjoy being passionate about their job and want to feel a purpose and contribution that gets noticed both at their job and as part of this community."
During the majority of Biscuits' home games, close to 200 employees staff the stadium. Successful candidates will be asked to work the entirety of the 70-game home schedule. Available positions at this year's job fair may be viewed by clicking the "jobs" link at www.biscuitsbaseball.com.
"The people of Montgomery and the surrounding region are what have made Riverwalk Stadium the best atmosphere in the Southern League," said Biscuits President and General Manager Greg Rauch. "From the suites to the concession stands to the box office, we pride ourselves on upholding a standard of excellence."
Over one-third of all Biscuits employees work in food service, an area Biscuits' management is particularly proud of.
"We are always looking for hard-working, dedicated individuals who want to be part of the team atmosphere we instill here at the ballpark," said Biscuits Director of Food & Beverage Travis Johnson. "The employees hired each season are vital to the success of all aspects of the food service operation, from the main concession operations to the suites, bars, and restaurant venues. Individuals who are excited to join the Biscuit family are encouraged to come down and apply."
Those interested in applying for spots with the fan-favorite Biscuit Bunch will be considered at separate auditions, taking place at the ballpark on Saturday, February 20th. Further information on these auditions will be released at a later date.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply. Employees are paid hourly or by the game, depending on the position. Montgomery Biscuits are an equal opportunity employer.
