Here's the latest from Campanelli Stadium...
-The Brockton Rox Hot Stove Banquet, presented by Webster Bank: February 26, 2010, 6:00 p.m. at the Shaw's Center at Campanelli Stadium: Get the baseball juices flowing and join former major-leaguers Cecil Fielder, Rich Gedman, Butch Hobson and Pete Incaviglia, the evening's featured speakers. The evening includes a silent auction, raffles, dinner, a question-and-answer session with panelists, and autograph opportunities. Tickets are going fast! $50 per person, with tables of 10 available.
-Season Tickets, Mini Plans and Group Tickets on sale: Call the Rox at (508) 559-7000 today. Mini-Plans start at just $70, while season tickets start at $300. Or, book your group's night out at the park, and make sure to reserve the best seats for your outing today.
Book your Field of Dreams Team: Give your youth baseball or softball team a memorable experience by having them join the Rox on the field for the National Anthem before the game. Space is limited to one team per game - call the Rox' office for availability.
-Coaches' Clinics: Free for youth baseball and softball coaches - Learn skills, techniques and coaching philosophy to help your team this season from Rox' manager Chris Carminucci and coach Ed Nottle.
Choose from three dates at Campanelli Stadium: -Wednesday, March 31 6:30-8:30 p.m. -Tuesday, April 6 6:30-8:30 p.m. -Tuesday, April 13 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Rox' Pro Showcase, May 1-2 at Campanelli Stadium: The Rox will be holding a two-day tryout, a fantastic opportunity for players not drafted or overlooked by scouts to have their talent evaluated while playing in multiple-inning games. The cost is $199, and players must register and pay at the Rox' office beforehand. Scouts from major-league organizations, as well as six different independent leagues, will be on hand.
