Spring Training Dinner And Auction Event Sold Out

ALTOONA, Pa - As of Thursday afternoon, the Altoona Curve Spring Training Festival Dinner and Auction at the Ramada Altoona's Tropical Courtyard on Saturday, February 6 is sold out.
While the dinner is sold out, fans wishing to meet Pirates legend and former Cy Young Award Winner Doug Drabek, Curve legend Josh Bonifay, and future Curve stars Rudy Owens, the Pirates 2009 Minor League Pitcher of the Year and Chase d'Arnaud, the 2009 Carolina League Championship Series MVP with the Lynchburg Hillcats will still have the chance to do so. The first part of the day's festivities begins on the second floor for of the Logan Valley Mall from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. A carnival-like atmosphere will commence with games, food, door prizes, live music, an autograph session and more. Tickets are still available for that event and can be purchased for just $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
"We've had a great response so far which is always exciting to see," said Altoona Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "It's extremely exciting to see the community to be so quick to rally around such a great cause."
All proceeds raised during the Curve Spring Training Festival will benefit the Altoona Regional Health System Foundation for Life.
