INDIANAPOLIS - Tri-City Storm forwards Jaden Schwartz and Radoslav Illo played in the United States Hockey League All-Star Game for Team West at the Pepsi Coliseum Tuesday night, as Team East beat Team West in overtime 5-4.
Schwartz assisted on Team West's second period goal by Des Moines Buccaneer forward Ryan Walters, who was named Team West - Most Valuable Player with three goals in the game.
Illo did not register a point and had an even plus-minus rating for Team West, but did register a shot and initially scored a third period goal on a breakaway that was called back due to an offside infraction.
Schwartz and Illo will rejoin their Storm teammates this week and practice for this weekend's games against the Fargo Force and Sioux City Musketeers.
The Storm will host the Force Friday (7:05pm) and Musketeers on Saturday (7:05pm) at the Viaero Event Center before traveling to Green Bay next week to begin a three-game road trip.
