
Toronto FC Off To Disney For Preseason

Toronto FC announced Thursday the final piece of their 2010 MLS preseason plans with a trip to Orlando, Florida to compete in the Inaugural Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic. The tournament, to be held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, will take place February 25 and 27. The team will travel directly to Orlando from Bradenton, Florida following the first stage of their preseason from February 8-17.
Along with Toronto FC, the tournament will feature the Houston Dynamo, FC Dallas, and New York Red Bulls.
On Thursday, February 25 the Houston Dynamo will face the New York Red Bulls at 6 p.m. (local time), followed by Toronto FC against FC Dallas at 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, February 27, the two losing teams will face each other at 6 p.m with the two winners playing in the championship game at 8:30 p.m.
Disney Sports plays host to some of the top youth soccer tournaments worldwide. Disney's Soccer Showcase is one of the largest and most elite recruiting tournaments in the country, pulling in over 500 boys and girls youth soccer teams that compete for both medals and collegiate scholarships.
Daily tickets to the Disney Pro Soccer Classic will include admission to the complex for both games and entrance to ESPN The Weekend events that are taking place at the complex.
