Rox Kick Off 2010 Season Friday, May 28

The Brockton Rox return to Campanelli Stadium and begin their 94-game 2010 Can-Am League season on Friday, May 28 with a three-game home set against the Worcester Tornadoes.

Highlights of the schedule include:

-The league's newest member, Pittsfield, making its first appearance at Campanelli Stadium June 15 through 17.

-The Rox host Quebec in a four-game series June 29 through July 2, the first time the Capitales will have visited Brockton since the teams met in the 2009 Can-Am League playoffs.

-A full promotional schedule to be announced soon. Many popular events from previous seasons will return, including Kids Eat Free on Mondays, Thirsty Thursday, Friday Night Fireworks and Sunday Family Fun Days.

Standard game times will remain the same as in 2009. Monday, Tuesday and Saturday home games will start at 6:05 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday home games will start at 7:05 p.m.; Sundays in May and June will start at 1:05 p.m.; and Sundays in July, August and September will start at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 13's game will start at 12:00 p.m. Game times for Thursday, June 10; Tuesday, June 15 and Wednesday, June 16 are TBD.
