Ports Improve Group Outing Packages

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Ports, 11-time champions of the California League, are pleased to announce that new and improved group outing packages are available to fans for the 2010 season.

In addition to selling tickets to large groups at a discounted rate, the Ports offer several different group barbecue packages in their premium group areas-the Jackson Rancheria Back Porch, the Ports Terrace and the Mini Monster Wall.

All three group areas are open to fans planning a group event for their company, or for fans celebrating such events as a birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, or bachelor/bachelorette parties.

The Jackson Rancheria Back Porch, which was ranked one of the Top 10 places to view a minor league game by ESPN.com, features a great view of right field from comfortable rocking chairs. This unique section is in prime home run territory and overlooks the Delta. Fans can enjoy a 90-minute All-You-Can-Eat buffet in the Back Porch. The buffet menu includes a choice between tri-tip and ball tip, hot dogs or sausages, and two side dishes. Back Porch buffet packages start at $700 for a group of 25 (or $28/person in a group of 25).

The Ports Terrace, nestled in left field, gives fans an insider's view at both the home and visitor's bullpens. Fans can chat with players and watch them warm up from the Ports Terrace, and enjoy the breeze from the Delta. Groups in the Ports Terrace can enjoy a 90-minute All-You-Can-Eat buffet. The buffet menu includes: tri-tip, hot dogs, baked beans, and unlimited soda. Groups also enjoy an exclusive pre-game meet-and-greet with Splash, the Ports loveable mascot. Every member in the group will also receive a commemorative hat. Ports Terrace group packages cost $26 per person, with a 25-person minimum.

Fans who enjoy classic ballpark food will definitely enjoy a Mini-Monster Wall barbecue at their group outing. This 90-minute All-You-Can-Eat buffet includes hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn and unlimited soda. This package is $20 per person with a 25-person minimum.

The Ports offer great discounts on group rates for Field Box and MVP tickets for fans. Field Box tickets cost $7 for groups between 25-99 people, and $6 for groups larger than 100 people. MVP tickets cost $10 for groups between 25-99 people, and $9 for groups larger than 100 people. The Ports also provide each group with a PA announcement, a group logo placement (if provided) and group recognition on the video board during the game, and free promotional material and assistance to help organize a group outing. Group leaders also receive a gift from the Ports.

A 25% deposit is required to reserve a date for a group outing, and group outings must be finalized and paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date.
