Indians Add Three Full-Time Staff Members

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians have added Brian McLaughlin, Kyle Fisher and Hannah Guess to a front office staff that also saw Bruce Schumacher, Ryan Bowman, Keri Oberting and Diana Biette receive promotions for the 2010 season.

McLaughlin assumes the role of Promotions Coordinator for the Indians after working for Pacers Sports and Entertainment. The 46-year-old graduated from Butler University in 1985 where he earned his bachelor's degree in Telecommunications. He is originally from North Judson, Indiana.

Fisher begins his duties as a Ticket Sales Executive after joining the Tribe last January as Ticket Services Assistant. The 25-year-old attended the University of Indianapolis where he graduated in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in sports management. He is originally from Olney, Illinois.

Also joining the Indians as a Ticket Sales Executive is Hannah Guess, who joins Indianapolis after working for Artec Environmental Monitoring. The 24-year-old attended IUPUI University, where she graduated in 2008 with a degree in Health Administration. She is originally from Greenwood, Indiana.

Schumacher, son of Indians' President and Chairmen of the Board, Max Schumacher, is in his 28th season with Indianapolis and has taken on the new title of Director of Special Projects after holding the position of Director of Corporate Development.

Bowman, who is entering his fourth season with the Indians has taken the new title of Community Relations and Promotions Manger after spending his first three seasons as Community Relations Manager.

Oberting, who spent the 2008 and 2009 seasons with the Indians as a Ticket Sales Executive has now joined the Tribe's Sponsorship Department as Sponsorship Sales Coordinator.

Biette, who is in her second season with the Indians, has been named Marketing Manager after joining Indianapolis as Marketing Coordinator/Designer during the 2009 season.

Indianapolis will entertain division rival Toledo in its 2010 home opener on Friday, April 16 at 7:15 p.m.
