
'Skates 4 Kids' Collection Night

(Ottawa) -The Ottawa 67's Hockey Club in partnership with Child and Youth Friendly Ottawa (CAYFO) will be hosting a skate and helmet collection night on Friday, December 18, 2009 when the 67's host the Peterborough Petes at the Urbandale Centre - Lansdowne Park. For each donation of a gently-used pair of skates or new helmet, each donor will receive one free admission voucher to the game on December 18th or to a future 2009/2010 season game.
Child & Youth Friendly Ottawa's "Skates 4 Kids" program collects and distributes gently used skates and helmets to underprivileged children and youth. Over the past nine years, CAYFO has distributed over 12,000 skates and helmets.
