
Twins Trade Bonser To Red Sox

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have traded right-handed pitcher Boof Bonser to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for a player to be named later or cash.
Bonser, 28, missed the entire 2009 season recovering from surgery on his right shoulder. Since being acquired by the Twins from the San Francisco Giants on November 14, 2003, Bonser appeared in 96 games (60 starts) for the Twins, going 18-25, 5.12 (391.2 ip, 223 er) with 125 walks and 317 strikeouts.
