Reed Seckel's second goal of the game with just 3:03 remaining Saturday moved the Green Bay Gamblers past the Waterloo Black Hawks at Young Arena.
Seckel scored off a rebound at the side of the Black Hawk net as the Gamblers sent in four of the final five goals for the night. Training 2-0 in the second, Sam Alfieri started the comeback with a power play tally at 5:36. Seckel tied the game on a redirection at 14:07 of the middle period, then a Ryan Furne one-timer during a power play gave Green Bay their first lead at 7:55.
Brady Vail's first USHL goal for Waterloo made the score 3-3 2:59 into the third period. Vail scored from close range off the rebound from Derek Arnold's initial chance. The Black Hawks 2-0 lead was the result of goals by Patrick Divjak and Brock Montpetit. Divjak snapped in a shot at 13:28 of the first, followed by Montpetit's tap-in 3:24 into the second.
Waterloo meets a pair of Iowa rivals next weekend, hosting the Des Moines Buccaneers Friday at 7:05 before traveling to meet the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Saturday.
