The Peterborough Petes are proud to announce that they will be holding their 4th annual Holiday Fun Camp for hockey players age 5-12 on December 28th, 29th, 2009. The camp sponsored by McDonalds, Canadian Tire and Ricart Trophies & Screen Printing in conjunction with Media Sponsor the Wolf 101.5FM and 100.5 Kruz FM will be held at the Peterborough Memorial Centre in two sessions. The first session is from 9:00 - 10:30am and the second session from 10:45am - 12-15pm. camp is designed to teach children age 5-12 the fundamentals of hockey in a fun environment, states Petes Assistant General Manager Aaron Garfat. An emphasis will be placed on skills; however, our main goal is making sure the participants have fun.Along side Head Instructor/Petes Assistant Coach Ryan Barnes will be members of the Peterborough Petes, one of which will be a goaltender. The Petes Players will run the drills and work on a face to face basis with all participants under the guidance of Barnes.

The Peterborough Petes Holiday Fun Camp will be limited to the first sixty registrants. The cost to participate is $150.00 including all applicable taxes. Parents can register their children in the Petes Store, Petes Office, or by contacting Petes Assistant General Manager Aaron Garfat in the Petes Office.
