Calgary Stampeders News Release
In continued support of amateur football, the Stampeders would like to remind fans that the city senior high-school city championships will be held this Saturday, Nov. 7 on Hellard Field at Shouldice Athletic Park.
The schedule is as follows:
Div. III championship at 3:30 p.m. - Dr. E.P. Scarlett vs William Aberhart
Div. II championship at 6 p.m. - Central Memorial vs Western
Div. I championship at 8:30 p.m. - Notre Dame vs Bishop O'Byrne
The Stamps, who proudly presented the weekly high-school rankings during the season, donated special custom-inscribed game balls for each of the junior and senior high-school city championships games. After being used in the championship games, the balls will be displayed in the winning teams' trophy case.
Tickets for the Stamps' home playoff game are on sale. Fans are encouraged to pick up their tickets by contacting Ticketmaster (403.777.0000 or online at Ticketmaster.ca) or visiting any local Safeway or Sport Chek location.
