Ice Flyers Look To Continue Success Vs Icegators Tonight

The Ice Flyers will look to stay undefeated as they travel to Louisiana to take on the IceGators Friday, October 30 at 7:05 p.m.

Pensacolastarted the season strong with a 6-2 win over the IceGators last week. After defeating the Mississippi Surge Thursday night 4-3, the 2-0 Ice Flyers stay on the road to face the IceGators Friday evening.

Lorne Misita leads the Ice Flyers with four points, including a goal from Thursday's game against the Surge. The last time Misita played the IceGators he picked up a goal and two assists.

The IceGators scored the first goal of the game three minutes into play the last time these teams faced-off. Smith assisted McBrien to give Louisiana an early advantage in the season-opener, but it was quickly erased by two Pensacola goals within the next three minutes of the contest.

Chad Collins has been a stalwart goalie for the Ice Flyers, preserving Pensacola's victory against Mississippi despite being outshot 47-23. Collins boasts a save percentage of.931 and brings vocal leadership to the Ice Flyers squad.

The excitement comes to Pensacola for the first ever Ice Flyers game at the Civic Center on Friday, November 6 at 7:05 p.m. Great seats are still available, and group packages are a great way to entertain employees, celebrate a birthday, or just relax with your friends.
