Stockton Ports News Release
STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Ports are proud to partner with News10 and to serve as a donation site for winter coats in the News10 Coats for Kids Drive. The Drive begins on November 1, and ends in mid December.
"The Ports are extremely proud to continue our partnership with News10 in various community outreach programs by serving as a donation site for the News10 Coats for Kids Drive," said Ports Director of Marketing Justin Gray. "We appreciate the generosity of Ports fans and hope that they help support the community as much as they support our team."
New or gently used winter coats can be donated at the Ports front office at Banner Island Ballpark from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A donation of any coat size is greatly appreciated.
Coats for Kids has been helping children and families in need since 1990. Since the program's inception, more than 440,000 coats have been distributed.
The Ports partnered with News10 in the "Tools for Schools" drive and the News10 Hero Central Food Drive during the 2009 season.
