(Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club is proud to announce that Jason Takefman has accepted the position of General Manager, the 11th in club history dating back to 1978.
A Graduate of McGill University, Jason has been a part of the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club since 2006.
"Jason's growth within our organization is a testament to his hard work and dedication," says Canadians President Andy Dunn.
"Over the past few seasons it has become apparent that Jason was fit for this role and I am certain that he will have great success in his new expanded role".
The Canadians also announced on Tuesday that Rob Fai and JC Fraser will take on Assistant General Manager duties with the organization.
Fai will continue to handle media and broadcast elements while Fraser will continue his efforts with stadium operations.
