
Admirals Release Forward Tommy Goebel from PTO

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals have released forward Tommy Goebel from his Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).
Goebel, a 5-foot-7, 170-pound forward from Parma, Ohio, appeared in one game with the Admirals and was scoreless with no penalty minutes.
Last season, Goebel appeared in 25 games with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, recording four goals and eight assists. He also skated in 35 games with the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers and scored 14 goals and 28 assists. The undrafted 24-year-old has appeared in 31 career AHL games between the Admirals, Penguins and Rochester Americans, scoring six goals and 11 assists.
The Admirals will hit the road tonight for a three-game trip. The first game is Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. against the Albany River Rats. All Admirals games can be heard on STAR 1310-AM and star1310.com. You may also watch games on a subscription or pay-per-view basis online at ahllive.com.
