Argos and SST Oaklville to Host Youth Football Clinic

Toronto - Have you ever wanted to tackle a receiver like All-Stars Kevin Eiben and Zeke Moreno? Do you want to run through a line of defenders like Jamal Robertson or throw a perfect spiral like QB Cody Pickett? Well, now is your chance to learn to play like a pro at a clinic run by the pros themselves.

The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce the return of the Argonauts Youth Football Clinic in partnership with Sport Specific Training Oakville (SST). The Argonauts Youth Football Clinic includes football speed and strength training from certified sport specific training coaches, a special guest appearance by Argonauts GM Adam Rita and position-specific training from Argos players Kevin Eiben, Cody Pickett, Jamal Robertson, Zeke Moreno, and many more.

Here are the details for the Argos Youth Football Clinic:

DATE: Sunday, October 4

TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

LOCATION: Pine Glen Soccer Centre

1520 Pine Glen Road

Oakville, ON

AGES: 12 - 17

COST: $149.99

The outline of the day will be as follows:

9:00 - 10:00 a.m.: Registration and Warm-up

10:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.: Sport Specific Training by SST Certified Coaches - high calibre training on strength, power, speed, acceleration and deceleration

12:30 - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch with guest speaker Adam Rita - insights on how to grow into a professional football player and what it takes to get to the next level

1:30 - 4:00 p.m.: Position specific training by Toronto Argonauts Players & 8-on-8 Scrimmage

Participants will receive an Argonauts numbered t-shirt, two Argos game tickets, food and beverages and a certificate of completion. This is a non-contact clinic.
