Rivermen Announce Training Camp Schedule

PEORIA, Ill. (September 18, 2009) - Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced the schedule and invitees for the 2009 Rivermen Training Camp. The first on-ice workout is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Carver Arena and it will be open to the media and the general public.
On Thursday, the Rivermen parent club, the St. Louis Blues, assigned the first players to Rivermen training camp: forwards Adam Cracknell, Mitch Love, Chris Morehouse, Anthony Peluso, Adrian Veideman, defensemen T.J. Fast, Justin Fletcher, Alex Hellstrom, Ryan Turek and goaltender Sebastian Dahm.
The following free agents will attend training camp: forwards Chris Morehouse, Jack Combs, John Lammers, Brett Hemingway, Nick Mazzolini, Jason Ryznar, Jordon Foreman, and goaltenders Dan Battochio and Paulo Colaiacovo.
The Rivermen will hold on-ice practice sessions at Carver Arena Sunday, Sept. 20 through Thursday, Sept. 24. All practices will be free and open to the public and media.
Peoria will play two preseason games against the Rockford IceHogs on Sept. 25 and 26. The game on Sept. 25 will be held at Carver Arena and tickets are on sale now at the Peoria Civic Center box office, the Rivermen office or online through Ticketmaster.
