Murphy Announces Five Havoc Signings

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc Head Coach Randy Murphy announced today that forwards Ryan Ellis, Jason O'Bannon and John Stefani, along with defenseman Paul D'Agostino and goalie Mark Sibbald, will all be coming to training camp in October.

Ellis (6-0, 190) played four seasons at Oswego State from 2005-09. He scored 67 goals and recorded 88 assists in just 103 career games. He twice led the Lakers in scoring as a junior and senior and finished second on the team in scoring as a freshman and sophomore.

O'Bannon (5-10, 185) played club hockey at Kent State during the 2006-07 and 2008-09 seasons. He played in 68 games and scored 48 goals and recorded 78 assists for 126 total points. He scored 14 powerplay goals and had 103 penalty minutes.

Stefani (6-1, 230) was a teammate of O'Bannon's at Kent State. He played in 110 games from 2006-09 and scored 17 goals and recorded 18 assists. He also had 209 penalty minutes.

D'Agostino (5-11, 190) has played in 22 career professional games, all during the 2006-07 season in the CHL and the ECHL. He scored one goal and recorded one assist. He played in 21 games in two seasons at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell from 2004-06 and recorded two assists. He also played in one season of junior hockey in the NAHL in 2002-03 and scored one goal and recorded one assist.

Sibbald (5-11, 185) played in 24 games in goal for Brown University from 2005-09. He finished his career with a 3.45 goals against average and an 89.3 save percentage. He played in 59 junior games for the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL and finished with a 35-16-3 record. He posted a 2.64 goals against average and a 91.4 save percentage.
