CHARLESTON, WV - The game on July 4th between the Lakewood BlueClaws and the West Virginia Power has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on Sunday, July 5th as part of two seven-inning contests.
The games will begin at 5:05 pm with Justin De Fratus taking his second turn since joining the starting rotation. He will be opposed by Gabriel Alvarado (4-6). The second game will begin 30 minutes after the first and it will feature a matchup of two of the top pitchers in the South Atlantic League if the rotations hold. Jason Knapp (2-6) will face Rudy Owens (9-1) in the second game.
