Portland Beavers News Release

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers announced this afternoon that fewer than 350 outfield reserved tickets remain for Saturday's Independence Day Celebration at PGE Park. A special fireworks show will follow the game between the Beavers and Colorado Springs Sky Sox. As of Friday afternoon, the team was sold out of infield reserved seats, with the limited number of outfield reserved seats and a larger number of general admission seats remaining for the Fourth of July game, which annually draws one of the largest crowds of the season.

The traditional fireworks show will follow the conclusion of the game and will originate from the center field area of PGE Park. First pitch is 7:05 p.m., and gates open at 5:30 p.m. The first 1,903 fans in attendance receive a Beavers patriotic cap, courtesy of PGE.

Tickets for Saturday's game start at $8 and are available at the PGE Park box office, area Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.

Additionally, the Beavers are offering a special $35 ticket for the July 4 game that includes seating in the exclusive Widmer Brothers group area near the visitors' dugout and an all-you-can-eat menu of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies and soft drinks (through the bottom of the sixth inning). These tickets are available by calling the Beavers ticket office at (503) 553-5555.
