Los Angeles Sparks News Release

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks will celebrate and honor the life of Michael Jackson during their game on Sunday, June 28th against the Seattle Storm. The King of Pop was an icon and long-time resident of California.

Throughout the Sparks game, the tribute will feature songs, Sparks player videos and special performances to honor Jackson's contributions not only in Los Angeles, but around the world through his music.

In addition to honoring Michael Jackson, the Los Angeles Sparks would like to introduce the Boost Mobile Family Plan as part of a new partnership with Boost Mobile. The Family Plan will allow families of up to 10 entry into Sparks games for just $50.

Taking the current economic situation into account, the Sparks partnership with Boost Mobile will allow fans to enjoy and experience Sparks basketball at an unbeatable price. Families can participate in the Boost Mobile Family Plan by visiting the box office on game days only.

"We are thrilled about this partnership with Boost Mobile," said Sparks President Kristin Bernert. "They have the same commitment to the community that we have and having them step up to the plate during these tough economic times to offer fans the Sparks experience is very inspiring to see from a large corporation."

The Sparks game on Sunday at STAPLES Center will also celebrate the Sparks partnership with the March of Dimes. The partnership was centered around the March for Babies that took place earlier this year in April. Head Coach Michael Cooper and forward Candace Parker joined the march to raise funds to ensure that all babies are born healthy. The game on Sunday is the celebration game to recognize those efforts and one lucky fan will walk away with a brand new Toyota Venza courtesy of March of Dimes.

The Sparks finish the opening month of the WNBA season this Sunday at STAPLES Center against the Seattle Storm. For more information on Sparks tickets or for your chance to win a car, visit www.lasparks.com or call 1-877-44-SPARKS.
