Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release

Springdale, AR - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals' Wednesday night game against the Arkansas Travelers has been postponed due to rainy conditions and severe thunderstorms in the immediate area which have caused a safety concern for Naturals players and fans.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a twi-night, same admission doubleheader to be held on Friday, June 12th. The teams will play two seven-inning contests beginning at 5:05 P.M. Gates will open at 4:30 P.M, and there will be a 30 minute intermission between the two contests. Any ticket for June 12th will be good for both games.

All tickets from Wednesday night are eligible, per the Naturals' rain check policy, to be exchanged for a equal-value ticket, based on availability, to any regular season Naturals game during the 2009 season (excluding special events).

Mother Nature has not been kind to the Naturals. After only one rainout during the 2008 season, the Naturals have already lost three games in 2009 due to inclement weather conditions. All three have been against the Travelers. One of those other games is scheduled to be made up Thursday as part of a twi-night doubleheader beginning at 5:05 P.M.
