The Saskatoon Blades announced today that they have added three new members to the front office staff. Amy Moats joins the team as Manager of Game Day Operations & Public Relations, Dan Ukrainetz will serve as Manager of Media & Website/Ticket Representative, and Lindsay McAllister comes on board as Administrative Assistant & Customer Service Representative.
Moats, who hails from Regina, Saskatchewan, joins the Blades from the Moose Jaw Warriors, where she has spent the past 4 seasons as Director of Community Relations and Executive Assistant. She returns to the Blades, having spent the 2004-05 season with the team as Marketing Assistant. She is a graduate of the University of Regina, with a degree from the Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies.
Ukrainetz, originally from Nipawin, Saskatchewan, comes to the Blades from the Edmonton Oilers organization, where he served as an Account Executive selling for the Oilers, the Edmonton Oil Kings, and the Edmonton Capitals. Ukrainetz also has spent time previously with the Blades, having interned with the team during the 2007-08 season. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, with degrees from the College of Arts & Science and the College of Kinesiology.
McAllister, a life-long resident of Saskatoon, is a recent graduate of the University of Saskatchewan College of Commerce and will be with the team for the next year while Lani Smith is on maternity leave.
"The Blades are very excited with the staff we have assembled for this upcoming year," says Blades Director of Business Operations, Trent Coghill. "The knowledge and experience that each of these individuals bring we hope will take our product to the next level as Saskatoon's premier brand of sporting entertainment. In addition, we wish the best for Lani and her family over the next year."
