
Keoni Ruth Promoted from Lake Elsinore

San Antonio Missions News Release
SAN ANTONIO - The Antonio Missions announced today that infielder Keoni Ruth has been promoted from Single-A Lake Elsinore and will be added to the Missions roster for tonight's game against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals in Springdale, AR. Ruth was a 22nd round draft pick of the San Diego Padres in 2007 out of the University of San Diego. He hit .246 (74-for-301) in 82 games in 2008 with Lake Elsinore, and was 4-for-13 with three walks in four games this season.
Ruth fills the 24th and final spot on the Missions roster.
The Missions are on the road for the next six games, returning to San Antonio Thursday, April 23rd for Time Warner Cable Dollar Night and a special appearance by Myron Noodleman, presented by Northwest Vista College.
