
Three T-Birds games to appear on Fox Sports Northwest this season

Kent, WA December 24, 2008 - The Western Hockey League today announced FSN Northwest will broadcast six 2008-09 WHL regular season games on their cable network in the Pacific Northwest this season.
The agreement marks the first time WHL regular season games have been televised on a regional basis in the U.S. with a major television network.
The Seattle Thunderbirds will play in three of the six games scheduled for broadcast on FSN. The first T- Birds game to be televised is on December 31 as the team travels to Portland to take on the Winter Hawks at 5 p.m. in their annual New Year's Eve game. The T- Birds will also appear on FSN on Friday, February 6 when they host the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Game time is 7:30. The third T-Birds game on FSN is on Sunday, February 8, when they host the Vancouver Giants at 5:05 p.m.

The T-Birds are in the midst of a two-week holiday break. They are back in action on Saturday, December 27, when they face the Portland Winter Hawks at KeyArena at 7:05 p.m.
Single game tickets for the T-Birds first game at the ShoWare Center, on Saturday, January 3, against the Everett Silvertips are currently on sale. Single game tickets can only be purchased on the T-Birds website by clicking on the Single Game Tickets link in the Tickets menu.
T-Birds season tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825. Purchasing a season ticket will ensure fans can attend the T-Birds first game in the ShoWare Center.
