
Cats' Manager Steverson Named to Oakland's Major League Coaching Staff

West Sacramento, Calif. - River Cats Manager Todd Steverson has been named to the Oakland Athletics' Major League Coaching Staff as First Base Coach, team officials announced today. Steverson, the third Manager in team history, guided the Cats to the Pacific Coast League and Triple-A Baseball Championship in his first and only season at the helm in Sacramento.
The team has not yet announced who will replace Steverson as Manager of the River Cats. That announcement is expected after the first of the year.
