Scott Lehman Heads to Atlanta

The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled defenseman SCOTT LEHMAN from the Chicago Wolves.

The 22-year-old blueliner has registered four points (2G, 2A) and 34 penalty minutes in 21 games this season, his third professional campaign. He split last season between Chicago and the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators, tallying five assists, seven points and 109 penalty minutes in 40 outings with the Wolves, and two assists and 18 penalty minutes in six games with Gwinnett.

The Windsor, Ontario, native has compiled four goals, seven assists, 11 points and 157 penalty minutes in 64 career American Hockey League games with Chicago from 2006 to 2008 and collected 16 points (2G, 14A) and 104 penalty minutes in 78 career ECHL outings with Gwinnett (2006 to 2008.)

Atlanta's third choice, 76th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, LEHMAN recorded 106 assists, 121 points and 603 penalty minutes in 244 contests with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors (OHL) during his four-year junior career from 2002 to 2006.

LEHMAN will be available to make his National Hockey League debut when the Thrashers host the Pittsburgh Penguins at Philips Arena tonight at 6 p.m. The Wolves will face the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center at 7 p.m.
