Carson to Appear On "The Game 365" Tune Into MSG On Thursday Night

MSG will premiere a new episode of The Game 365 titled 'Two-Fold Talent' with New York Liberty guard and former Rutgers University standout, Essence Carson on Thursday, December 11 at 11:30 p.m. For the interview, host Fran Healy catches up with Carson at renowned New York City music venue, The Cutting Room, where they talk about Carson's talent off the basketball court - music. During the half-hour episode Healy finds out how a girl from a New Jersey performing arts school ended up a professional athlete, and Carson discusses her musical accomplishments and aspirations to become a record producer.

Carson, a first round draft pick by the Liberty in 2008, is considered to be a future star in the WNBA. In her rookie season for the Liberty, she averaged nearly seven points and two rebounds per game. While attending Rutgers University Carson earned the honors of All-Big East Second Team and was awarded Big East Defensive Player of the Year title for three straight seasons.

Former major leaguer and veteran television personality Fran Healy travels the country to visit with sports' movers and shakers for The Game 365. Each episode mixes in-depth interviews with a look behind the scenes as Healy spends a day with his guests in their environment, whether it be the office and ballpark with Atlanta Braves GM John Schuerholz or working the vineyards with Tom Seaver, The Game 365 offers viewers a side of some of the most fascinating people in sports that is rarely on display.
