Online Rangers Remembrance Day Jersey Auction Ends Today At 7PM

The Rangers wore their "Valour" jerseys to commemorate Remembrance Day in their games on November 7th and 8th. Don't miss out on your opportunity to obtain a one-of-a-kind piece of Rangers memorabilia.

This "Valour" jersey is based on the jersey that armed forces personnel wore in Europe during and after WWII. The Jersey features three stripes that replicate the stripes on the ribbon of the Medal of Military Valour. The Medal of Military Valour is awarded to members of the Canadian Forces or allied forces serving in conjunction with Canadian Forces for "an act of valour or devotion to duty in the presence of the enemy". The front chest features the word valour and the Canadian maple leaf.

Much like the jerseys we have created in the past this year's version commemorates those that fought in battle throughout the years and still fight today for our freedoms.

Half of these jerseys were auctioned live at the rink on Friday, November 7th.

The remaining jerseys are currently being auctioned at kitchenerrangers.com.

This auction will CLOSE TODAY Sunday, November 16th at 7pm.

All proceeds from the auctions will benefit veterans through the 78th Fraser Highlanders Fort Conestoga Garrison and the Kitchener-Waterloo Poppy Fund. In the past three years the Rangers commemorative jersey auctions have raised more than $100,000 for various beneficiaries.
