WORCESTER, Mass. ... In conjunction with the American Hockey League, Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that individual tickets for the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Charter Communications will go on sale to the general public beginning Saturday, October 18, at noon ET.
Fans may order their AHL All-Star Classic tickets by calling the Worcester Sharks front office at (508) 929-0500, visiting the DCU Center Box Office, purchasing online at www.sharksahl.com, or at all Ticketmaster locations.
Ticket packages, including admission to both the AHL All-Star Skills Competition and the AHL All-Star Game, start at just $32.

The 2009 AHL All-Star Skills Competition presented by Charter Communications will be held on Sunday, January 25, at 4:00 p.m. at the DCU Center. The Post-Skills Party will immediately follow at Mechanics Hall until 10:00 p.m.
The Hockey Hall of Fame/AHL All-Star Classic Luncheon, which includes the 2009 induction ceremony for the AHL Hall of Fame, will be held in the grand ballroom at the DCU Center on Monday, January 26, beginning at noon. The 2009 AHL All-Star Game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. that evening.

The 2009 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Charter Communications will feature the top young talent in the American Hockey League competing in the annual All-Star Skills Competition and the 2009 AHL All-Star Game, a two-day event to be televised nationally in the United States and Canada. Of the 455 players to take part in the AHL All-Star Classic since 1995, more than 93 percent have competed in the National Hockey League, including Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes, Dan Boyle, Brian Campbell, Zdeno Chara, Jonathan Cheechoo, Rick DiPietro, Jiri Hudler, Miikka Kiprusoff, Chris Kunitz, Manny Legace, Kari Lehtonen, Ryan Miller, Zach Parise, Martin St. Louis, Jason Spezza, Eric Staal and Tomas Vokoun.
