Patriots Championship Apparel Available At Noon On Thursday

Somerset Patriots 2008 Championship apparel will be made available in the Patriots Team Store at Commerce Bank Ballpark on Thursday, October 2nd beginning at 12:00 pm.

The t-shirts and hats are the same ones given to the Patriots players and coaches on the field after clinching the 2008 Atlantic League Championship at Commerce Bank Ballpark on Monday, September 29th.

Fans will be able to congratulate Patriots manager Sparky Lyle, pitcher Casey Cahill, and first baseman Vito Chiaravalloti at the ballpark.

Catcher Travis Anderson, who hit the game-winning walk off home run in Game Four to seal Somerset's championship, will also be on hand.

All players are scheduled to appear between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.

This was Somerset's fourth Atlantic League Championship, having previously won the title in 2001, 2003, and 2005. This is the first time the Patriots clinched the Championship at home.
