
Storm Participate in Fall Classic

Tri-City Storm News Release
KEARNEY - Nebraska's Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League participated in the annual Fall Classic in Sioux City, Iowa on September 25th, 26th and 27th. The Storm went 1-2 in the tournament with a win over Green Bay and two losses to the Des Moines Buccaneers and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
Radoslav Illo and Danny Heath led the way for the Storm. They both scored two goals and handed out one assist for three points on the weekend. Mike Cichy, last year's leading scorer, also had three points on the weekend. He recorded one goal and two assists. Josh Berge also had three points as he handed out three assists.
The Storm will open their season on October 3rd in Lincoln at 7:05. The Storm will be taking on the Sioux City Musketeers at 7:05 at the FirsTier Event Center on October 10th for their home opener. To purchase tickets for the home opener, please contact the Storm box office at (308) 338-8011.
