Amerks Get Six More From Florida

(Rochester, NY)... Florida Panthers General Manager Jacques Martin announced today that the team has assigned six more players to the Rochester Americans (AHL).

After 17 skaters were assigned to Rochester yesterday, those joining the Amerks include forwards Michal Repik, Janis Sprukts, Mike Duco, Kenndal McArdle, David Brine and goaltender Chris-Beckford-Tseu.

With the moves, the Panthers training camp roster now stands at 27 players. The Amerks open training camp on Tuesday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m. at ESL Sports Centre.

The Amerks will open their 53rd American Hockey League season on Friday, October 10th at 7:35 p.m. against the Syracuse Crunch at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial. Rochester enters the season as the sole affiliate of the National Hockey League's Florida Panthers.
