Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
The summer heat getting you down? Here's a chance to bring back some of the winter now!
The 2008 Kelly Cup champion Cincinnati Cyclones are hosting a free agent camp this weekend at SportsPlus (10765 Reading Rd., Evendale). Fans are invited to check out the action, as more than 50 players will showcase their talents--hoping to be extended an invitation to the Cyclones main camp in October.
Friday night (August 15), the players will be going through the paces during workouts. The sessions are from 8pm-8:40 and from 8:50-9:30pm.
Saturday (August 16), there are three scrimmage games being held. Each game will be 90 minutes in duration and the game times are at 10am, 2pm and 6pm.
Sunday (August 17), the goaltenders will go through a 9:15am workout. Following that, the final 32 players will participate in a last tryout game. Faceoff for that 90 minute game is at 10am.
There is no charge to watch any of these tryout events. Head Coach Chuck Weber and Assistant Coach Dean Stork will both be on hand to oversee and evaluate the talents of these prospects.
