Food Allergy Awareness Night

July 22, 2008 - The Cedar Rapids Kernels have teamed up with The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) to present Food Allergy Awareness Night on Tuesday, July 29th at 7 pm.

During the game, no products containing peanuts or tree nuts will be served at the concession stands at Dale and Thomas Popcorn Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium and the stadium will be cleaned of any remnants of nut residue before the game.

Alternative snacks will be served in the stands during the game. Snacks will include sunflower hearts (shelled seeds), pumpkin seeds, and small bags of pretzels. Questions regarding Food Allergy Awareness Night should be directed to Jessica Fergesen at 896-7608.

Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.kernels.com , or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Ticket Office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
