MOBILE, Ala. - Mobile BayBears outfielder Gerardo Parra has been named to the World roster for the 2008 XM Satellite Radio All-Star Futures Game at Yankee Stadium on Sunday, July 13.
Parra, a Venezuela native, is one of top prospects in the Arizona Diamondbacks system and has hit .293 in a BayBears uniform with a homer and eight knocked in while playing a sterling center field.
