
Kings Enter 2008 NHL Entry Draft With Fifteen Selections

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, are scheduled to make up to 15 selections - including the second overall selection in the first round and eight total selections in the first three rounds- during the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, scheduled for June 20-21 at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. The first round of the draft will take place on Friday, June 20 with VERSUS providing live coverage of the event starting at 7 p.m. EST. Rounds two through seven of the draft are scheduled for Saturday, June 21 starting at 10 a.m. EST with the NHL Network and NHL.com providing round-by-round coverage.
