
Flames Introduce Michael Weindruch As Director Of Corporate Sales

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames announced today that Michael Weindruch has joined the team's front office as the Director of Corporate Sales. His primary duty will be building partnerships with area businesses while maintaining the team's relationships with existing corporate partners.
Weindruch has an extensive background in sports in the Quad City area. He served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The Swing of the Quad Cities, a Midwest League affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, from 2004 through 2007. Weindruch was also the General Manager for the Continental Basketball Association's Quad City Thunder from 1997 through 1999. In both of his previous posts in the sporting industry, Weindruch played a crucial role in building corporate partnerships, ticketing and marketing.
In addition to his experience in sports, Weindruch has spent time in both the radio and newspaper industries in the Quad Cities. He joins the Flames from the Quad City Times where he served as Retail Sales Manager. Weindruch also spent over 25 years in the radio industry in the greater Quad City area including a five-year stint as the General Sales Manager for Clear Channel Radio in Davenport.
Weindruch is an active member of the Quad City community. He serves in various capacities with the Quad City Sports Commission, the Bettendorf Chamber of Commerce, the Moline ASA National Softball Tournament and the 2009 International Softball Congress World Tournament.

The Flames staff and mascot are available for appearances and speaking engagements throughout the summer of 2008.
