
Brett Dowdy Transferred To Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers today announced that infielder Brett Dowdy has been transferred to Portland from Class AA San Antonio.
Dowdy, 26, hit .316 (43-for-136) with three homers, four doubles, one triple, 15 RBIs, six stolen bases and 32 runs scored in 33 games with the Missions. In parts of two previous seasons with Portland (2006-07), Dowdy has a .234 batting average, five doubles, one triple, five RBIs, four stolen bases and 20 runs scored in 42 games.
The Beavers' active roster is now at 22 players plus two major league rehabilitation assignments.
