Mississippi Braves News Release
The Mississippi Braves announce that RHP Brad Nelson was promoted to AAA Richmond Sunday morning and RHP Tommy Hanson was promoted to AA Mississippi from High-A Myrtle Beach.
Nelson was 1-0 with an ERA of 4.76 ERA through nine outings in Mississippi.
Hanson was 3-1 with a 0.90 ERA through seven starts in Myrtle Beach. He surrendered only four earned runs over 40 innings pitched and didn't allow a run over his first four outings of the season. Hanson is scheduled to make the start for Mississippi in game four of this series against the Montgomery Biscuits Tuesday night.
The M-Braves roster now has 24 active players with two players on the disabled list.
