
Mike Duco Named Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Mike Duco of the Kitchener Rangers is the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday April 27 after scoring three goals and finishing with a plus-6 plus/minus rating in two playoff games.
Duco helped the Rangers to a pair of wins that helped them beat the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in five games in the Rogers OHL Western Conference Championship Series.
Duco scored two goals, including a short-handed effort, and was the second star in a 7-3 win over the Greyhounds in Game 4 on Monday and added another goal in a 5-0 win in the series-clincher on Wednesday. He has scored 12 goals and had three assists for 15 points in 13 playoff games.
Duco, a 20-year-old native of Scarborough, scored a career-high 32 goals and 22 assists for 54 points in 62 games this season.
